Doug Gallant
Prior to forming Independent Title, Doug worked as a title examiner and commercial closing officer for Mid-Ohio Title from 1977-78, for Preferred Title in 1976-77 as an examiner and closing officer, and from 1972 to 1974 for Attorney Howard J. Gallant as a law clerk and title examiner. From 1980 to 1986, in addition to running Independent Title, Doug performed commercial underwriting and closing services for Midland Title and Ticor Title. Doug currently oversees all Franklin County searches, and has experience in over 70 counties in Ohio.
Doug is a founding member of the National Association of Land Title Examiners and Abstractors (NALTEA) and has served on the Board of Directors and as newsletter editor.
