Doug Gallant
Prior to forming Independent Title, Doug worked as a title examiner and commercial closing officer for Mid-Ohio Title from 1977-78, for Preferred Title in 1976-77 as an examiner and closing officer, and from 1972 to 1974 for Attorney Howard J. Doug Gallant
Prior to forming Independent Title, Doug worked as a title examiner and commercial closing officer for Mid-Ohio Title from 1977-78, for Preferred Title in 1976-77 as an examiner and closing officer, and from 1972 to 1974 for Attorney Howard J. Gallant as a law clerk and title examiner. From 1980 to 1986, in addition to running Independent Title, Doug performed commercial underwriting and closing services for Midland Title and Ticor Title. Doug currently oversees all Franklin County searches, and has experience in over 70 counties in Ohio.
Doug is a founding member of the National Association of Land Title Examiners and Abstractors (NALTEA) and has served on the Board of Directors and as newsletter editor.
Rob Gallant
Rob joined Independent Title in June of 1979 as a title examiner. He had prior freelance experience from 1977 to 1979. Rob serves primarily Delaware County. He has experience in over 60 counties in Ohio. Rob is also a member of NALTEA and has earned the designation of Master Title Examiner from the organization.
Susan Wright
Susan joined the company in April of 1998, bringing ten years experience as a commercial and residential examiner with TransOhio Lawyers Title. She has worked extensively in Franklin County as well as over 30 other counties. She was a senior underwriter in the production department and was supervisor of courthouse personnel at TransOhio. Prior to that Susan worked as an examiner for American Realty Title Assurance Company from 1984 to 1988, and performed second mortgage searches for Butler Report Company from 1983 to 1984.
Traci Gallant
Traci is a paralegal with over 35 years of experience, and has worked part-time for Independent Title since May of 1999 as administrative assistant handling billing and bookkeeping.
